Rich still at LGH...

Just a quick note to let you know that Rich is still at Lancaster General with a fever. The fever has calmed down with the help of drugs (And Darlene's chocolate cake and milk). They think that Rich may have a touch of pneumonia, because they see some shadows on his CAT scan. But, the really good news is that his tumor has reduced in size to less than half of what it was before! Alleluia! Thank God and all of the doctors and nurses for their good work! Keep it up!

Word around the room is that he won't be going to HUP for Easter, his doctor wants him to go home after this hospital visit and rest until the following weekend. Which is alright with us; we want to see him get home for awhile. Rich's spirits are high, but he's anxious to get up and around again. He sends his "Hello's" to everyone, and said that he'll be on the blog again soon when he gets home. Thanks to all of you for the thoughts and prayers.
We love you, Karen

I will praise You,
for I am fearfully and
wonderfully made.
—Psalm 139:14

I often think back on the times we had together and reflect how up beat you are, the eternal optimist. Keep up the good work, the best is yet to come.
Easter is a season with mixed emotions, on the one hand we praise God for his great sacrifice yet we cry to see our Lord suffer. We seen it then and we see it all through our lives GOD HAS A PLAN.
Ok enough of the preaching, we love you and continue to pray for you, your family, and dear Daphne.
Who loves ya baby,

So glad to hear the good news of
the "incredible shrinking tumor."
Sorry to hear you're not feeling as well as you would like.
I think being home for Easter is a great thing - just what the "DIVINE PHYSICIAN" ordered. Hope you feel enough to enjoy this holiest of weeks. I will offer up
my singing during Holy Week services for your health!
Lots of love and kisses,
Aunt Paula

We are so glad to hear that you are on the mend Richie, and that you are being released in time for Easter. Time at home and HUGE Italian holiday dinners are the best medicine!

Love,
Mandy, Steve, and Maggie

Dear Richie,

John and I were glad to hear the good news about the tumor decreasing in size. We'll tell the Easter Bunny to bring you extra chocolate eggs since you've been such a good patient. ;-)

Keep up the good work,
John and Pat Karns

Hey "Hottie!"

Where's the temp. at?? Keeping it "cool?"
One of my children asked during our a.m. prayers -- is that cancer outta Richards body yet?? They continually check to see if it's gone yet!
We continue to pray.......

With Love,
