Hello everyone! Happy Easter to all of you! Rich and I are relaxing today...not much going on. The doctors do not yet see any infection in the CSF they took yesterday from his Omaya port. That's great! They will continue to give him the antibiotic in the Omaya for a few days just to be sure and they will continue to monitor the culture they took yesterday to make sure nothing starts to grow.
Richard's red blood cell counts were a bit low, so he got 2 units of blood today. He is on the 2nd bag now and all has been successful.
They are hoping to start his third round of chemo. this week so he can go home as soon as possible.
Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers! Love, Daphne

Happy Easter to all of you - Richard, Daphne, Peter, Richard & Karen!
We prayed for each and every one of you during our Easter mass this morning.
So happy to hear that so far, so good with the omaya port. We'll keep on praying that everything clears up on the antibiotics.
We were all wondering... did the Easter Bunny visit??
We'll talk to you soon.
Lots of love and prayers,
The Wright Gang
Yo Richie! Great that your Daphne is keeping everyone so informed with your blogsite. She IS a treasure. If you need some sunshine to help with your recup, I can recommend the Las Cruces area! Temps have been in the 70's mostly, and the roses at the apartment here are starting to bloom! Roses at Easter -- a more hopeful sign I couldn't imagine. Just get your mom or dad to get in touch with my old chorus if you need anything -- those gals are fabulous! They have contest coming up in a couple of weeks down in Ocean City MD. I know Lori Jo will remember you ... and probably other memberrs of her former quartet as well. And if you need any jokes to keep you smile up, just let me know!
Love & hugs, sweetie -- Jean
Hey Richard!
Daphne called and updated my this morning. This is a tough road, but you will get through it!
You are in my thoughts and prayers!
No matter what you guys choose to do for wedding plans, I wouldn't miss it for the world! Hang in there kiddo! (((hugs))))

Dear Rich,
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
How do you expect,
The Easter bunny to find you.
You do know he is a "hair" brain, so you have to tell him where you will be.
We love ya and continue to pray for you.
Carl & Darlene
