It's been over a week since I last updated, and I apologize for not writing sooner. Richard was feeling nauseous for most of this past week. Thursday he started to feel better, but then Thursday evening, he got a call that he needed red blood cells and platelets. He had to sit all day in outpatient oncology at LGH on Friday and get the transfusions. Since Friday evening, Richard hasn't been feeling very well. He said his stomach feels "gurgly" but not really upset. Tomorrow we will go to LGH for bloodwork, and we'll see what they say there. Richard is really ready to be done with all this. Please keep up the prayers. The end here seems to be some of the toughest times.

Dearest Richard & Daphne,
Ugh....I'm soo sorry that your week has been yuck! We're praying that this week will bring you GREAT DAYS and no upset stomach! Down to the last round yet! You can do it!!! Merle's cousins wife just started the whole chemo. regiment a few weeks ago. Like you there are good days and not so good days. Her hair is gone but her faith remains strong. They have 2 small children that are watching Mommy endure this! We are currently praying for 4 friends/family that are undergoing chemotherapy for one kind of cancer or another. We will continue to uphold you in lots of prayers!!! Thinking of you both often.
Love,
Kim
Prayers are non-stop. We know that you've had enough, Rich and we're sorry that this past week was not a good one for you. It's just about over now - keep remembering all that you've accomplished and the little that's left.
Love to you, Daphne, for being right beside Richard through all of this. Your strength and love have been true blessings for Richard.
We'll be in touch this week after having just returned from our much-needed time away.
Hopefully, Rich will be feeling better and you can both take a break and come out for a beautiful evening boat ride. NOW THAT'S GOOD MEDICINE!
Lots of Love and prayers, A. Angela, U. Chris & Cousins
Ugh is right! I feel bad that you are feeling ill! Just one more round and you can kiss that chemo goodbye! Just like Aunt Angela, our prayers are non-stop! God has gotten you this far, he will help you to the end!
Looking forward to spending some time with you when you are feeling better.
Love to you both!

Hello Daphne,
Just now getting around to checking my e-mail and Richard David's Blog. It has been a busy couple of days since we returned from the mt.house. So sorry Richard has been having a rough time with this last round of chemo.
He really is a trooper! I do remember him each day in prayer and you as well. I look forward to having you come for lunch when Richard is feeling better. Take care and God Bless.
Love, Aunt Helen
